Cosplay report!

First, if the doujinshi gets delivered first before the Guy figurine, I am so gonna panic.x_x;;

*cough* Cosplay preparation ALWAYS drains my inspiration FAST, but it seems I am too inspired for some strange reason this week (in betweens the mailing panic). Still I fill up my playlist with Bump of Chicken songs (added 2 new songs, 'Only Lonely Glory' and then my Roku!Guy theme 'To pass through the same door'... the song is incidentally one of the Roku!Guy themes in the Roku!Guy anthology.Xp meh.)

Anyways~


Last year when pic_kuroi_aka cosplayed Asch, his Tabard sadly didn't have any design on it. He didn't want me to sew it on cause he thinks it'll be just a waste of time and he wanted to just PAINT it on.


Guess what?8D I still sew it on and got to finish the right side for half a day nonstop.
He was kinda happy, but I wanted more...

And he could sew Asch's tabard as well! *shoots self*

The Tabard's done, except for the back. I'll probably leave the back empty for now and finish sewing on the pippings on Natalia's dress and Guy's jacket.

I already listed the stuff to buy and we still need to make a new sword for Asch cause his last one broke.Dx
I'll probably stick to bringing my Jewel of Gardios<3 and a random sword Sheath AGAIN.
Natalia... O SHI... Where can we get a bow and arrows?x_x;;


That sewing kit Robot has been in our family for years (most likely older than me and my twin).>.>;;
it's helping me out a bit now and those are most of my sewing stuff... for now.8D I still have enough bias tape to sew on the design on the back of the tabard but...

So far, I'm calling that Robot Tarlow X (Barrelow X).8D;;

Yeah, I finished the tabard cause I was expecting even a little praise form HIM. I was TOO excited to finish and show it to him by midnight before he goes to work, but I ended up getting depessed. Okay, if he doesn't get my Choker fixed just as he said he would-- I'd be more depressed. Asch didn't even praise his servant...T.T


AGH! So much for angst. If I finish the stuff I need to sew early, I MIGHT sew the design on the back of Asch's tabard if we still have time...

I kinda translated one of the manga's in the Rokujinshou!Guy Anthology, where I posted it, I won't tell cause I'm not that confident with my english.XD;;

I'm kinda thinking... Since I could easily draw the heart on Asch's tabard... the design on Van's is a killer-- and I think it'll be much more difficult when sewing it.XD

I want to have a Van-sensei cosplayer with us.Dx

Wow... That's amazing. I wanted to go as Asch this year to Anime Expo (rapidly approaching), but I'm puzzling over how I should go about putting the design on the tabard. Paint is most practical to me, but once I look at the design itself my heart fills with dread. Why, oh why are there two different designs for the back and front?! And they both have to be so difficult... sigh. I have no idea how you could sew them on.
